Here are the slides from the PowerPoint Presentation I gave yesterday, October 29, 2010.I was at the Seamen’s Institute in Newport, RI as part of the NARC Rally’s  11th voyage to the Caribbean. 16 Boats joined the Rally this year, I was the Communications Officer on last year’s Rally. This all day introduction to Off Shore Passage-making was for a dozen sailors and boat owners, some crewing on boats departing this weekend . . . other still dreaming of making the leap off shore to the islands of the world.
